Printmaker in the making ...

 

I am part of a collective called the The Printing Girls. We are a group of South African women artists who work with traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques.

I mostly work with monotype and one-off prints. It allows me to experiment with a wide range of materials, surfaces and non-traditional printmaking techniques. Perfect for an artist who likes working fast, like myself. The unpredictable nature of working this way is what attracts me to this form of printmaking.
